Michigan Pioneer Memorials

Michigan Pioneer and Historical Society

These books are titled differently as follows as was the society that produced them. They contain a wealth of historical documents, names and the history of Michigan. These books are available in most major Michigan libraries. The general title used for all publications is the Michigan Pioneer and Historical Collections.

  • 1876-1886 (Volumes 1- 9): Pioneer Collections. Lansing : Pioneer Society of the State of Michigan.
  • 1886-1912 (Volumes 10-38): Historical Collections. Lansing : Michigan Pioneer and Historical Society.
  • 1915-1929 (Volumes 39-40): Michigan Historical Collections. Lansing : Michigan Historical Commission

 

Memorials were submitted yearly by counties as to who had died that year. The following are the ones extracted so far.
